2019 was a fabulous year for Napa Valley. Wine Spectator awarded this year a 97-point score, and Vinous Media gave it 96 points saying that 

“The 2019 Napa Valley Cabernets have turned out beautifully. 2019 is a very high-quality vintage of Cabernets that will be easy to drink and enjoy with minimal cellaring. The extra kick of late heat softened the tannins, making the wines a pleasure to taste and drink." 

Aging: 20 months, 70% new French oak, 30% in 2 year old barrels.

Tasting Notes

 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc. Hints of blackened cherry, dried tea leaves, warm blackberries, cassis, and scorched earth. Powerfully round and evolving with dark fruit jam and fresh blackberries lingering through the finish.

Reviews

Its silky, seductive mouthfeel is washed in boysenberry and sweet earth. Fleshy in its textural tonality, with spiced cedar and a cocoa powder mid-palate. As it opens up, the jammy factor spreads across the mouth with satisfying results. ~94 Tasting Panel Magazine
