Founded in 1857 by Jesuit priests who dug the first underground aging caves in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, Chateau Ksara is the country's oldest and most renowned winery. This is single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from a place that's been producing serious wine longer than most California appellations have existed. The nose opens with cedar and light spice over solid black fruit — classic Cabernet architecture. The palate shows blackcurrant depth with a flash of raspberry brightness, finishing tannic and structured.
