Pouilly-Fumé's unique terroir, with its flinty soils and proximity to the Loire River, produces some of the most exciting Sauvignon Blancs in the world. Wines that captivate with their smoky aromas, vibrant acidity, and intense citrus flavors.

Domaine Raimbault-Pineau is located in the heart of Sury-enVaux. The estate’s terroir is iconic, with soils that date back to the Cretaceous and Jurassic eras, formed between 100 to 150 million years. The vineyards are located in 3 different types of soils: Caillottes, (calcareous and rocky soils that result in fine and fruity wines) Terres Blanches, (composed of clay and shells, which contribute to the complexity of the wine), and Silex (a siliceous sedimentary rock, granting smoked aromas and an elegant minerality.)

Today, the 13th generation of the family, Sonia Raimbault is at the helm of the winery. Sonia and Lucien, have a deep understanding and love for their land and wines. They’ve managed to carry a sustainable estate from the vineyard to the cellar. The vineyards are located in some of the best Loire appellations like Sancerre, Pouilly-fumé, Coteaux-du-tennis, and MenetouSalon.

Tasting Notes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Complex and perfectly balanced, this wine has notes of a mineral nature with nuances of citrus and quince tinged discreetly with honey.
