Born in the heart of Marlborough, this wine is the ultimate expression of te Pā—a family-owned winery with deep roots in the land. Haysley MacDonald, the visionary founder, planted his first vines at Wairau Bar back in 2003. And now, 800 years of his family's history and connection to this land have come together in a wine that’s truly special. Every bottle of Pa Road is a celebration of the soil, the ocean, and the river that have shaped this region.
Sam Bennett is the head winemaker. Sam’s approach is simple: great wine comes from respect. He respects the land. He respects the fruit. And most importantly, he respects the process. With over 20 vintages of experience, including stints in Burgundy, Tasmania, and Oregon, Sam’s winemaking is a masterclass in balance and elegance.
