What the Critics Said
THE PRODUCER
Chateau Ksara
Chateau Ksara sits in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley and holds the title of the country's oldest commercial winery — founded in 1857 by Jesuit priests who brought French grape varieties and produced Lebanon's first dry wines. In 1898, the estate uncovered two kilometers of Roman-era underground caves, now used for maturation thanks to their naturally stable climate.
Today, the winery exports to more than 40 countries and remains one of Lebanon's most internationally recognized producers.
