2025 Chateau Cavalier Cuvee Marafiance Rose Provence

Provence rosé is the gold standard — pale, dry, mineral-driven, built for the table and the terrace.

This one comes from a single vineyard owned by the Castel family, tucked between the Massif des Maures and the foothills of the Haut Var Alps. The blend is six grapes deep: Grenache, Rolle, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon.

The estate's winemaking is overseen by Léa Mazubert, who holds a Master's in Vine and Wine Sciences from ISVV and the National Diploma in Oenology from ENSAT, and who became the technical director of all Castel family properties in 2023. All wines are fermented using natural yeasts.

The Cuvée Marafiance has been named Best in Show at the Decanter World Wine Awards — the world's largest wine competition — earning 97 points and recognition as the finest rosé on earth.

Pale pink with raspberry and bluish tints. The nose is citrus and red fruit up front, then floral and spicy aromatics that keep layering. On the palate: elegant, fresh, lifted.

Red fruit and citrus carry through, mineral notes build, and the finish is long with a clean acidic tension that makes you reach for the next glass. It's got the structure to handle grilled fish, pasta, anything off the grill — or it's perfect on its own.
