Arione SpA is based in Canelli, a town in the province of Asti in the Monferrato — the UNESCO World Heritage wine landscape that also gave the world Asti DOCG and Moscato d'Asti DOCG. Luigi Arione founded the house in 1870. Brothers Mauro and Luca Arione run it today as the fourth generation. Their core range runs from Moscato d'Asti to Barolo and Barbaresco.
