About The Wine
Miquel Canals Ollé founded Ramon Canals in 1975. The Canals family has been cultivating and the producing of high-quality wine, in Castellví de Rosanes for 45 years but their roots in the region can be traced back to 1903! This family-owned & operated domain located in a small village in the wine-growing region of the Penedès produces high-quality wine from sustainable vineyards making sure every wine puts forth the highest standards quality.
Blend from native varieties Xarel.lo, Macabeu, and Parellada. The second fermentation in the bottle ages on the yeast for more than 24 months where the wine develops the prefect maturity and aromatic potential!
Tasting Notes: Sparkling Wine. Xarel.lo 50%, Macabeu 30%, Parellada 20%. Pale yellow-colored Cava with fine and persistent bubbles. Intense aroma with fruity and floral hints and gentle notes of aging. On the palate, the wine is fresh, slightly sweet, and very round palate. Recommended with assorted salads, pasta, rice, and fish dishes.
