1990 Paul Jaboulete Ainé Les Cédres Châteauneuf-Du-Pape
About the Wine
Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
80% Grenache, 10% Cinsault, 10% Mourvedre. Dark red. Aromas of fresh red berries and floral pastille are accentuated by hints of garrigue and allspice. Mildly sweet and seamless on the palate, offering juicy raspberry and blackberry flavors that become spicier with air. A smoky undertone appears on the lingering finish, which is nicely framed by supple tannins and a slow build.
