2007 Hourglass Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 95RP

Another seamless example of a Bordeaux varietal is the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. Its wonderfully refined, complex, and fragrant nose of black fruits, spring flowers, charcoal and graphite is followed by a full-bodied, dense, velvety-textured wine with superb opulence and a heady, long finish with no hard edges. It is a beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon that seems nearly ready to drink, but there is so much depth that it conceals the serious structure the wine possesses.
