"Offers very alluring warm ganache and mesquite aromas, which meld into the core of mulled plum, fig and anise flavors. Long and silky through the finish, with incense and white pepper weaving in and out, along with lots of buried grip. There's a very distinctive personality to this wine. Best from 2014 through 2026. 290 cases made." — Wine Spectator, 96 pts
