About the Wine

The history of Nada Fiorenzo begins in 1921 when Carolo Nada purchased an abandoned farmhouse and began producing wine to sell to local restaurants. It wasn't until 1982 that the estate produced and bottled its first wine under the Nada Fiorenzo label. Today, fourth-generation winemaker Danilo Nada carries the touch focusing on lowering the quantity and raising the overall quality of the Estate produced wines. Danilo produces world-class single vineyard Barbaresco along with a variety of classic Northern Italian varieties.

Seifile means "six rows" and refers to the few vineyard rows of Nebbiolo that pepper this Langhe Barbera blend.

The history of Barolo and Barbaresco have lauded Piedmont as one of the premier wine regions of the world. This legendary region in the NE of Italy has much more to offer than the King and Queen of Italian wine. Amongst a wealth of riches, Barbera is Piedmont's hidden gem! 

Aging: 18 months in Barrique

Tasting Notes: 80% Barbera and 20% Nebbiolo. The 2011 Seifile embodies the richness and harmony of old vines Barbera and the austerity of Rombone's Nebbiolo. An inexhaustible source of aromas and flavors, bright red fruits, and floral undertones lead this wine whole the superb texture and intensity of flavor leave you wanting more.
