Tasting Notes
100% St. Laurent. Deep garnet color. Aromas of ripe blackberries and plums with hints of black pepper, clove, and earthy undertones. On the palate, this full-bodied wine reveals rich dark fruit flavors, velvety tannins, and subtle oak nuances. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering notes of spice and fruit. Pair with roasted game, braised meats, or aged hard cheeses.
Critical Reviews
Dark ruby garnet, solid color core, violet reflections, delicate water edge. Fine nuances of vanilla, black berries, licorice, a hint of pipe tobacco, mineral touch. Powerful, black berry fruit, present tannins, firm, fresh acidity, still somewhat demanding in the aftertaste, will benefit from bottle maturity. ~92 Falstaff
