About the Wine

In 1879, the first Kunde vineyards were planted from Chateau Margaux and Lafite Rothschild cuttings. This historic estate is ran by fourth and fifth generation family members, as they continue to carry the torch, lit by their original founding family member Luis Kunde. They bear the same commitment Luis carried to innovation and maintaining a deep, personal commitment to sustainable farming and preserving the land for future generations to come.

Kunde lets the vineyards voice be heard through the bottle and ultimately your glass. Their holistic wine making approach and sustainable practices allow ever minute detail of the landscape sing through with its noble voice and harmonious tone. These are terroir driven wines that come from a unique vineyard landscape that offers wines of great depth and complexity. 

Tasting Notes:  Aromas of apple, Meyer lemon, and custard that shine in the nose. The rich, expansive palate weight brings with it a deep core of créme brûlée, apple and a touch of cinnamon. Elegance in a glass!
