About the Wine
Ottoventi is a progressive winery based near Mt. Erice, not far from Trapani on the NW part of Sicily. The name means eight winds, which refers to the variety of winds that pass through the property given its exposure to the three surrounding seas, mainland Italy, and its proximity to Africa.
These are wines of purity. The wines are organic and vegan certified. The alcohol is balanced and the fruit is clean and fresh. Unlike a number of Sicilian producers which promote quantity over quality, this is a family winery with a philosophy to make the best wine possible.
If you love Sicily, like we do, then you'll be enchanted by this wine. Pair it with any Southern Italian pizza, pasta, tomato sauce, or a hamburger.
