Theorize is one of the top Napa brands, employee-owned, spearheaded by the entrepreneurial Ryan Anderson. Together, the team works with Swiss-born winemaker Jean Hoefliger. Aging: 12 months in 100% French Oak

Tasting notes: Red Wine. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark ruby with touches of royal red and garnet. A beautiful balance of spices like nutmeg, thyme with cherry pie, cedar, vanilla bean, touches of coconut and molasses, gingerbread. Fresh but lush entrance evolving on ripe sweet fruit like cherry preserve macerated strawberries lingering on tannins and cinnamon.

This 2018 Theorize Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is made of 100% Cabernet, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with suggestions of red currant jelly, black cherries, mulberries, and crushed black currants with touches of cigar box, fragrant soil, black pepper, and truffles. Medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy textured, it delivers tons of muscular black fruit and a long, mineral-laced finish. 600 cases produced. ~93WA (v.2016)
