Argiolas is the foremost wine estate on Sardinia Island, known for crafting quintessential wines that are an ode to the island's terroir. If you truly want to discover the fascinating Mediterranean wines that this island has to offer, Arigolas is your go-to!
The estate was founded in 1938 by Antonio Arigolas. This family is a watershed in the history of wine on the island since they were the first to bet on quality rather than quantity. Today, the Argiolas family is recognized as Sardinia’s leading wine producer.
The family estate covers more than 600 acres of vineyards planted only with native grapes like Nuragus, Monica, and Cannonau. Farming is 100% sustainable and has minimal intervention.
Korem is an exotic blend of Bovale Sardo (Graciano in Spain), Carignano, and Cannonau. The image that is shown on the label is an Ancient Greek coin that was founded in the vineyards of the Argiolas property, this represents the interesting old history that precedes this territory.
This blend is perfectly thought to provide the wine with acidity, amazing Mediterranean aromas, depth, and body, and achieve an elegant wine of layered complexity.
Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Bovale Sardo, Carignano, and Cannonau.

Wonderful aromas of Mediterranean flowers such as rosemary and lavender with red fruits such as plums and cherries. Full-bodied with firm and polished tannins that are intense and give serious length and focus to the finish. Give this time to soften but a beautiful red already. Try after 2023. ~94 James Suckling
