Tasting Notes

 100% Carricante. Structured aromas and three dimensional flavors. Notes of white acacia flowers, fresh almonds and mountain peaches on the nose; On the palate juicy and full with notes of yellow plums and prickly pears.

Here's a cheerful wine to love and enjoy. The 2019 Etna Bianco presents a zesty range of Carricante-specific aromas that start off with tropical fruits and peachy sweetness and then veer toward crushed stone and mineral. This is a lean-bodied white with plenty of refreshing acidity and crispness. This bottle is a joy to drink, preferably with some stuffed clams. A tangy, fruity white with stone, apple and white-pineapple character. Some parsley. It’s medium to full body with attractive fruit and mineral undertones on the palate. Drink or hold. ~92 James Suckling

Bright straw yellow. Clear hints of wet stone on the nose, a pinch of chamomile blossom, then citrus fruit and sea salt, even slightly medicinal in the aftertaste.
