The first tower of Castello di Bossi rose in 1099. By 1450, the structure had become a quadrilateral fortification in the south of Chianti Classico, in Castelnuovo Berardenga. Destroyed by Florentine troops in 1478, it passed through the Ricasoli and Ugurgieri families before taking its current form as a fortified villa during the Grand Ducal era. Today the estate extends over 500 hectares, with 120 under vine — the beating heart of Bacci Wines.

Corbaia is named for the vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon planted at Bossi 42 years ago. This Super-Tuscan blend — 70% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon — speaks to the estate's commitment to both tradition and the bordeaux varieties that thrived in Tuscany's clay and tufo-rich soils. It's organic, estate-grown, and a direct expression of place.

Stainless steel-fermented and matured in new French Allier oak barriques, Corbaia shows the finesse and elegance that come from letting the fruit lead and the wood support. The result is a wine of superb integration — full-bodied yet supple, with well-structured tannins and a rich, layered texture.

Intense ruby-red with garnet highlights. Jammy aromas of black currants, cherries, and cassis backed by hints of tobacco, mocha, and vanilla. On the palate: saturated with cherry, raspberry, dark fruit, sweet cedar, spice, and black plum. Full-bodied with generous fruit layering and integrated tannins. The finish shows berry, vanilla, spice, and the signature of new wood — a wine built to cellar and built to pour tonight.
