We agree with Mr. Suckling, but guess what? Since 2020, there's been an even hotter wine category: Prosecco Rosé! 

If you didn’t realize that pink Prosecco existed, that’s no surprise. While pink sparkling wines were made in the regions that produce prosecco, they could not be called Prosecco. Tasting Notes

Glera, Pinot Nero. Light and elegant pink color. A fresh and creamy sparkling wine with floral scents of rose and violet and fruity notes of raspberry coming from Pinot Nero, along with juicy notes of peach and Golden Delicious apple (typical of the Glera grape). Perfect as an aperitif and to liven up a party.
