About The Wine

Valpolicella is Veneto's most misunderstood appellation — the everyday red that lives in the shadow of its bigger, more expensive sibling, Amarone. Most of what hits grocery shelves is thin, forgettable, priced to move. This isn't that.

Tasi comes from three friends — Matteo, Michele, and Mattia — who planted vines in an old limestone quarry in Val d'Illasi, near Verona. The site once fed a cement factory; now it feeds vines with the mineral-rich soil left behind by centuries of extraction. The nearby Colli Euganei hills add volcanic soils — lava, magma, clay, and chalk — giving the fruit a fresh, mineral edge you won't find in the commodity bottles.

The 2022 vintage delivers what great Valpolicella should: intense ruby red color, ripe cherry and wild berries on the nose, followed by fresh spice. The palate is full-bodied yet crunchy — dry and soft at once, with firm slightly dusty tannins, long refreshing acidity, and exceptional balance. Red fruit lingers on a persistent finish. This is the kind of wine that makes you rethink what Valpolicella can be.

The classic Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella blend, grown on terrain that actually matters, bottled by people who care. Pull the cork tonight.
