Arise takes its name from the opening notes of "Blackbird" — nine birds on a telephone wire, etched on the label in the exact position of the song's first musical phrase. It's a detail that signals the care that goes into the wine itself.

The blend leans on Merlot as its backbone, rounded out with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvest happens in autumn; the wine spends 21 months in French oak, half new, half seasoned, then rests in bottle for two years before release.
