Bledsoe-McDaniels has become one of the premier producers of Pinot Noir in the Pacific Northwest — a collaboration between NFL legend Drew Bledsoe and superstar winemaker Josh McDaniels. A few years back, they purchased the former Hope Wells Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills and renamed it Coulee Vineyard: 29 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay planted on Saum-Parrett and Woodburn soils. That vineyard is now the backbone of their program.

LFG represents the moment Josh and Drew decided to take the leap into Oregon Pinot Noir — the wine that started it all. The 2023 vintage comes from the Eola-Amity Hills, where elevation and wind create the tension great Willamette Valley Pinot needs: concentration without weight, structure without hardness.

Wine Enthusiast gave it 94 points and called the boysenberry sorbet and blueberry aromas "captivating," layered with forest floor and crushed brick dust. Massive tannins carry flavors of cranberry, red raspberry, orange zest, and cedar. The tannin structure is built to age — Enthusiast suggests drinking through 2038.
