2023 Dom Guillemard Clerc Bourgogne Blanc 'Les Parties' Chardonnay

Located between the Portes de Lyon and Chablis, in the heart of Cote de Beaune you’ll find Domaine Guillemard Clerc, a petit family-owned winery, that has rapidly gained the heart of the lucky few who have had the pleasure of tasting its wines. The winery is Pouilly Fuisse adjacent, (one of the best terroirs in the world for Chardonnay.) The estate is literally like a stone's throw away from being labeled that AOC.

Domaine Guillemard Clerc is led by Corinne, the third generation of an important family of vignerons in France. She founded Domaine Guillemard Clerc in 2003, as an ode to her passionate ancestors.

This boutique winery owns less than 25 acres of vineyards located in 15 different appellations in Puligny and Beaune. Corinne is a meticulous winemaker, which is shown in the love and care that she impregnates to her work: The vineyard is managed with sustainable practices (HVE certified in 2020), the grapes are hand harvested and carefully selected, and they are pressed immediately to retain maximum freshness. The result is healthy wines that “show class and precision.”

Bourgogne Blanc 'Les Parties' a.k.a "baby Puligny Montrachet" is a highly allocated wine. Only 300 cases were made. Corinne uses 1 new barrel in the lot and it makes the wine more round with the perfect amount of toasted vanilla.

Les Parties is translated from French to "The Parties". This charming 100% Chardonnay is indeed the PERFECT party wine (and not only because of its name) but because this is the type of wine that upon finishing it, you're already looking for the next bottle to drink!

Aging: Vinification in the barrel. 1 new barrel and the rest is 1-3 years old.
