The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Two Wolves Vineyard is a well-crafted, classically styled wine. Fresh red berry fruit and juicy acidity give it lift, while cedar, rose petal and tobacco leaf tones add nuance. The 2023 is elegant and well-proportioned, with plenty of structure to carry it forward. The 50% new wood is particularly well integrated. ~93 Vinous Media

What the Critics Said
THE PRODUCER
Two Wolves
Pink owns Two Wolves Wine located in Santa Ynez Valley, California. Spotted eagle-owls were introduced to the vineyard as natural predators to control mice foraging on vine root systems. Vantage posts were erected in all the vineyards for owls to perch while hunting at night. Owls established themselves in densely wooded areas on the farm due to abundance of food. P!nk (Alecia Moore) bought an organic vineyard in California's Santa Ynez Valley in 2013, sight unseen, while on tour in Australia. Her first vintage was 2014. Two Wolves Winery is named after a Cherokee legend about balance. The winery is certified organic since day one. The team was built with five women. Two Wolves Vineyard is located on the border of the Happy Canyon AVA in the Los Olivos District. Neethlingshof Wine Estate was founded in 1692 by German settler Willem Barend Lubbe on the Bottelary Hills.
