The story of Domaine Earl Doucet, producer of this amazing white Sancerre, started back in 1975 when the Doucet family planted about 12 acres in the village of Sury-en-Vaux. Today, this family-owned winery owns almost 30 acres.

The vineyard is located in a beautiful terroir with rare soils composed of chalk clay (also known as Terres Blanches,) silex, and “caillottes” (a mix of marl and limestone) that are typical of the region.
