About The Wine

Founded in 1998 by Terry and Mary Peabody, Craggy Range has built a legacy producing exceptional wines from New Zealand's most distinguished sites. The family established a 1,000-year trust to ensure the winery remains under family stewardship for generations — three generations work together today.

Martinborough is New Zealand's answer to Burgundy — a small, cool-climate region on the North Island's southern tip that delivers Pinot Noir with precision, elegance, and real tension. The ancient stony soils and diurnal swings create wines with bright fruit and a minerally backbone that keeps them fresh and interesting to drink.

This 2025 Pinot shows bright red cherries and blueberries on the nose, with a floral bouquet and black cherry layered with wild spice and earthy undertones. The palate is elegantly fresh with a chalky feel — medium-bodied, smooth, silky, and round. The finish is dry, soft, and very long.
