About The Wine

Wolffer Estate has been one of the finest producers on the East Coast for over 35 years, farming 55 acres sustainably in Sagaponack, in the heart of the Hamptons.

Founded in 1988 by Christian Wolffer with just 14 acres, the estate is now owned and operated by his children Marc and Joey Wolffer alongside Winemaker/Partner Roman Roth — and it's grown into one of the most breathtaking vineyards and horse farms in the region, spanning 175 acres.

Summer in a Bottle Rosé was introduced in 2014 and has become iconic to the brand — it's the number one fastest-growing rose in New York City, and it traditionally sells out each summer. Wine Enthusiast called it "one of Long Island's biggest success stories."

In 2022, Wolffer expanded the footprint to France with a Cotes de Provence edition. This is the Long Island original — the visual and taste portrait of the Hamptons' high summer.

The 2025 vintage shines in a pale salmon shade with a soft pink hue. Aromas of ripe rose petals, cranberry, red currant, and subtle herbal notes create an inviting bouquet.

On the palate, vibrant red berry fruit meets refreshing acidity, perfectly balanced by a fine tannin structure and a touch of classic minerality — a crisp, coastal freshness that captures the Atlantic breeze. The rosé has lovely balance between the fresh fruit, fine tannins, good minerality and graceful acidity.

Serve chilled alongside smoked salmon, lobster, shrimp, carpaccio, soft cheeses, or main-course fish, veal, and pork. It's even perfect with turkey at Thanksgiving.
