About the Wine

Voss Vineyards does one thing and they do it well, Sauvignon Blanc. The estate decided to shift focus entirely to making single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc in 2007 and hasn't looked back. Focusing on showcasing the purity of the fruit that is grown on the Morgan Lee Vineyard, this wine provides an incredibly bright, energetic drinking experience. Sauvignon Blanc lovers rejoice, BHW is here to deliver one of its finest expressions. 

Voss Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is a single vineyard offering from the Yountville Appellation of California. Planted in 1978, the Morgan Lee Vineyard has been farmed organically since 1986, minimal intervention ensures the purity of place is prominent in our wine. The Voss style ensures that it is one of the earliest picked vineyards in the region. The grapes go through “skin contact” for 24 hours before pressing, which amplifies the intense fruit flavors from the vineyard and helps to develop a lovely texture on the palate.

Aging: 4 months 90% Stainless Steel, 5% New French Oak, and 5% Neutral French Oak.

Tasting Notes

 The wine exhibits classic varietal characteristics of lemon and grapefruit on the nose, while vivid tropical fruits flood the palate. The finish is delightfully crisp and lingering. Serve well chilled.
