About The Wine

Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by Alphonse Pierlot with a philosophy that still defines the house: not the biggest, but the finest. Two centuries later, that filter has made them a favorite among collectors who recognize the difference between mass-production Champagne and the real thing.

Harmony is their answer to a style most houses get wrong — Demi-Sec. The blend is 45% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 15% Meunier, given extended aging on the lees and a carefully calibrated 40g/L dosage. The result is a wine with sweetness that reads as richness, not sugar — rounded, delicate, and built for food.

The wine shows brilliant golden-yellow in the glass. The nose is intense: dried almonds, hazelnuts, toasted brioche, with deeper honey and resin notes emerging after a few years in the bottle. On the palate, it's full-bodied and generous — pear, apple, peach, orchard fruit, and a touch of honeyed sweetness balanced by refreshing acidity. The finish is lively and persistent. Owen Bargreen scored it 94 points.

This is Champagne for the table, not the toast — built for sweet-savory dishes, roasted stone fruit, or a dessert course that doesn't need more sugar. Pull the cork for duck with apricot glaze, foie gras, or a tarte Tatin.

CRITIC REVIEWS

What the Critics Said

Bright lemon yellow colour. Ripe stone fruit, vanilla cream, blossom honey, some fresh shortcrust pastry and roasted almonds on the nose. Creamy, sweetish elegance of white nougat notes on the palate, tasty with crisp acidity and a refreshing pinch of fleur de sel. Aromatic, long finish of ripe apple, peach and a chalky, mineral flavour. Wonderful with desserts and cheese. ~93 Falstaff

This perfumed, off-dry Champagne is ripe with soft acidity and white fruits. Balanced with a fresh edge, the wine is ready to drink. ~91 Wine Enthusiast

A lovely blend of sweet and savory, this presents fresh orange and lime blossom scents against tighter apple and limestone acidity. ~91 Wine & Spirits
