About the Wine

Arduini winery was founded in the 1940s, when Luciano’s grandfather, Gabriele started his business in the small town of “Canal” in Marano Valpolicella.

Luciano Arduini took over his father’s company and followed his example by continuing the tradition and adding modernity along with his own personal vision to the winery. Today, Luciano and his son Andrea work together to grow the vines and make the wine.  Their style is a perfect fusion between the traditional and the modern.

Andrea Arduni is a passionate winemaker and he graduated from the best school of oenology in Pisa in 2007. He has worked for more than 16 wineries around the world. From Tuscany, Umbria, Campania, Trentino, Piedmont in Italy, and even outside Italy, in South Africa, Romania and Greece.

Arduni Winery continues to grow and innovate, following the evolutionary path mapped out over seventy years ago. In 2020, they began producing wine in a new and modern cellar.

Andrea Arduini says, "Our philosophy consists in obtaining a product which is source of joy, happiness and friendship; those are the most important principles in our lives."

This wine ages in stainless steel tanks for 6 months and is intended to be drunk in its youth. This is the type of red wine that pairs perfectly with lighter food and even fish. Serve lightly chilled. If you like wines that have lower tannins or less acid or bitter "bite", you may enjoy this wine.

Tasting Notes

50% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella Red Wine. Ruby red color with light purple shades. On the nose, young and fruity. On the palate, soft and delicate. Stainless fermentation makes this a perfect wine to serve lightly chilled and it is excellent with light to medium bodied foods including appetizers and white meat dishes.
