Vino Nobile translates to "noble wine." The wine's name is literally derived from its history of consumption where Kings, Queens, Popes, and Presidents would drink themselves under the table and confess their love for this Italian potion. This region was declared "the Kings of wines" in 1865 by Italian poet Francesco Redi.
Bindella otherwise known as Tenuta Vallocaia is an estate winery in the Montepulciano region of Tuscany. It was created by Rudolf ‘Rudi’ Bindella, a Swiss wine importer in 1984. Located in the Argiano Subzone in what they call a "little corner of paradise in Tuscany" with a focus on the wines of Montepulciano. Though not officially certified the vineyards are farmed with green sowing and no use of chemical compounds, herbicides, pesticides, and anti-fungal biotechnologies. The wines are pure and elegant not overdone like some of the other Vino Nobile on the market.

Luminous ruby red. Open-hearted and inviting on the nose, with notes of ripe cherries, red peaches, rose hips, and an elegant, spicy aftertaste. Very juicy and distinctive in its fruit on the palate, spans a beautiful arc, hearty and clear, with a long finish. ~93 Points, Falstaff.
