About the Wine

The origin story for Krutz Family Cellars begins in 2003 when Patrick Krutz produced sixty cases of wine intended to be enjoyed amongst friends and family. The demand for this garage-style wine quickly outgrew the supply and this the Krutz Family name was born. Patrick takes pride in controlling every aspect of the winemaking process from cultivation, yield controls, production, etc. He's there every step of the process and brings these stunning wines from vine to bottle year in and year out. Krutz Family Cellars produces some of the most stunning Cabernets from the most sought after vineyards within Napa Valley. The Krutz team has much more to offer than 2016 Beckstoffer Cabernet, their Magnolia series is made with the same attention to detail and passion as their top wines. With their roots in Mississippi, Patrick and his team wanted to bring Southern Hospitality into his wines. They created the Magnolia series a laid back, casual, and always true approach to wine intended to be enjoyed frequently coupled with a value guaranteed to exceed expectations. 

Aging: 22 Months in 20% new French Oak barrels 

Tasting Notes: Red Wine. Dark and lush fruit with notes of blackberry jam, chocolate, licorice, and ripe strawberry. Harmonious big blend with well-integrated tannin structure helps guide the smooth finish.
