This wine hails from elevated vineyards within the Pouilly-Fuisse region, although these specific vineyards have never been formally recognized as part of the Pouilly-Fuisse appellation. As a result, you're experiencing the exceptional terroir quality at a fraction of the price.

Domaine des Granges is run by 3rd generation winemaker, Yannick Paquet. The history of this Chateau dates back to the 12th century when it belonged to the Seigneurie des Chaintré, one of the oldest families in the Macon region.

Yannick, a meticulous vineyard and winery enthusiast, continues his family's winemaking legacy in Fuissé, Mâcon. Their Domaine De Fussiacus vineyards, cultivated organically with clay and limestone soils, produce exceptional Chardonnay. With his dedication to detail, Yannick's wines showcase a perfect balance of freshness and creaminess. 

This versatile Chardonnay offers notes of golden apple, citrus, and preserved lemon, making it a perfect match for chicken, pork, or seafood. For Chardonnay and Burgundy aficionados, this wine is a fantastic option from a passionate family-owned winery.

Aging: 18 months, 12 months barrel fermentation, and 6 months in tank. 

Tasting Notes: 100% Chardonnay. The palate is powerful and rich. The terroir expresses itself through fitness and minerality. Overall an impeccably balanced wine.
