Domaine Jean-Paul Balland, a family-owned estate in Bué, spans 48 acres and is now under the guidance of Jean-Paul's daughters, Isabelle and Elise. The vineyards benefit from diverse soils—clay-limestone "White Lands," stony "Caillottes," and clay-siliceous terrains—each contributing to the wine's complexity and minerality.
The 2022 Sancerre from Domaine Jean-Paul Balland showcases the appellation's signature crisp acidity and minerality, making it an excellent pairing for seafood and spicy Thai dishes.
