About the Wine

Pierre Brecht Crémant d'Alsace Rosé is a sparkling expression of Pinot Noir from the heart of Alsace, a region known for its world-class wines. The Gisselbrecht family, behind the Pierre Brecht brand, has been crafting wines here since the 17th century. Their philosophy balances tradition with innovation, ensuring that every bottle reflects both the rich heritage and the forward-thinking approach of Alsace winemaking.

Alsace, located in northeastern France, is shaped by a unique mix of French and German influences, both in culture and winemaking. The vineyards are nestled along the Route des Vins d'Alsace (Alsace Wine Route), a picturesque stretch of rolling hills, medieval villages, and historic wineries. The region’s cool climate and diverse soils—granite, limestone, and clay—produce wines with bright acidity and distinct minerality. The Crémant d'Alsace AOC, established in 1976, has since become France’s leading sparkling wine outside of Champagne.

This Rosé is made using the traditional method, the same technique used in Champagne, resulting in fine bubbles and a crisp, elegant profile. After bottling, the wine rests in the cellar for at least a year, allowing it to develop complexity and finesse before release.
