A spicy wine with singed bread and bark, as well as strawberries and cherries. Light-bodied, it has a tight-knit structure with zesty acidity and a long, refreshing finish. Very precise and polished. Drink now. ~ 93 James Suckling
Well-cut acidity is a refreshing sweep in this refined, sculpted rosé Champagne. Frames flavors of white peach, dried white cherry, raspberry coulis and salted Marcona almond as they ride the satiny mousse alongside accents of oyster shell, pickled ginger and lemon thyme. A streak of chalky minerality emerges to drive the finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2030. ~ 93 Wine Spectator
Light orange. Sharply focused red berry and tangerine scents are complicated by suggestions of allspice and cinnamon, with a hint of smokiness in the background. Sappy and minerally on the palate, offering fresh strawberry and blood orange flavors lifted by juicy acidity. Packs a serious punch but carries no excess weight and finishes stony and very long with echoing red berry character. ~ 92 Vinous Media
Like all the current bottlings of Ruinart, this Champagne has a fine balance between fine fruit and maturity. This wine has toast, touches of red fruits, and citrus. It is ready to drink. ~ 91 Wine Enthusiast
Based on the 2021 vintage and including 30% reserve wines, the most recent release of Ruinart’s NV Brut Rosé was disgorged in March 2024 with a dosage of eight grams per liter. It reveals aromas of pomegranate, dark cherry, redcurrant and blood orange, mingling with cranberry, brioche and a touch of rooibos. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and elegantly muscular, vinous and layered, with lively acidity and a perfumed, saline-tinged finish. Harmoniously balanced, it is among the most compelling in its category. ~ 91 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

What the Critics Said
THE PRODUCER
Champagne Ruinart
Champagne Ruinart, founded in 1729, is the oldest established Champagne house. It was inspired by Dom Ruinart, a Benedictine monk born in 1657, whose early writings on “wine with bubbles” laid the groundwork for the Maison.
Over the centuries, the Ruinart family pioneered several Champagne firsts — including the first rosé Champagne and the use of wooden shipping cases. Today, the house produces nearly 2 million bottles annually and is part of the LVMH luxury group.
Ruinart’s vineyards span the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, with a style that favors Chardonnay’s elegance over Pinot Noir’s power. Its prestige cuvée, Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, is made entirely from Grand Cru Chardonnay and aged for a decade in the historic 8km chalk cellars beneath Reims — among the deepest and most storied in Champagne.
