About the Wine

There's nothing more classic than the incredibly recognizable yellow label of Veuve Clicquot. The promise of decadence is engraved within the bottle and lends to the champagne itself. Distinguished as one of the best known Champagne brands, Veuve Clicquot has earned this title. Founded in 1772, it was led by the innovative Madame Clicquot. A true icon, after her husband's death she brought the brand to notoriety where it was eventually acquired by the Louis Vuitton Moet Henessy group. While already historical, this cemented Veuve Clicquot as a luxury champagne. 

And luxury it is. This pinot forward blend sets the expectation for non-vintage bruts as it boasts pear and white fruit notes while maintaining toasty aromas. Topped with creamy bubbles, you'll first get a mouthful of luxurious lemon as it finishes with the warmth of brioche. This balance is what makes it ideal as both a stand alone wine, or the perfect pairing with any dinner.

Aging: The wine has aged three years in Crayeres

Tasting notes: Brut Champagne. Pinot Noir forward. Lemon, white fruit, vanilla, and brioche aromas are rich and balanced. The palate is complex and structured. Warm, toasty notes round out the finish.
