A light, economical and versatile wine to have on hand for entertaining.
This 2013 Pinot Noir is an elegant and graceful styled wine with pure red berry, spices and red plumb notes. It has a very nice finish that lingers and a balance fitting for food. The wine is medium bodied with a bright berry red color.
Drink now or lay down for aging. It is fabulous now or cellar up to the next 3-5 years.
This Pinot Noir was fermented in open top fermenters. The must is hand punched down twice a day for optimal color, flavor and tannins. The process took 12 days. The wine is pressed into tanks to settle and then barrel aged for ten months.
