Nestled in the breathtaking Douro Valley, Jorge and Sandra embarked on an extraordinary journey in 2001, armed only with a dream and a shared love for winemaking.

Quinta da Manoella stands as a proud testament to their legacy, a historic estate steeped in tradition and familial heritage. With roots tracing back to 1838, this enchanting property boasts 60 hectares of land, of which 20 hectares are dedicated to vineyards. Here, amidst the stunning Mediterranean forest, lies a very old vineyard, a venerable treasure trove of indigenous grape varieties, some over a century old.

This exceptional wine reflects the ethos of Wine & Soul—a commitment to quality, tradition, and terroir. With minimal intervention, Jorge and Sandra allow nature to take the lead, crafting wines that speak volumes about the land from which they hail.

With its captivating depth and unparalleled complexity, the 2014 'Quinta da Manoella' Vinhas Velhas Douro Red Blend embodies the essence of the modern Douro—a region where tradition meets innovation, and each bottle tells a story of passion and perseverance.

Aging: 20 months in French oak barrels. 

Tasting Notes: 100% Touriga Nacional. Aromas of spices, wild berries and distinctive graphite, which provides very sophisticated and complex notes. Pure flavours of cherry, raspberry and mineral notes, this wine is vibrant, firm and well-defined with charming acidity and lingering aftertaste.
