The flagship from the estate, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Double Eagle is all varietal that spent 18 months in 75% new French oak. This ruby/purple-hued beauty offers up a terrific nose of pure cassis and darker, blue-tinged fruits as well as sweet tobacco, graphite, espresso, and toasty oak. Pure, full-bodied, and concentrated, it stays straight and focused on the palate, has plenty of mid-palate depth and richness, velvety tannins, and a great finish.
