La semana pasada, el equipo de One Vine Wines y Big Hammer Wines tuvimos la oportunidad de asistir a Prowein, una de las ferias de vinos más importante del mundo.

La feria tuvo lugar en Dusseldorf, Alemania, donde más de 5,700 expositores procedentes de 62 países, y más de 38,000 visitantes profesionales del vino de 145 países tuvimos la oportunidad de formar parte de este evento.

El ambiente en la feria era completamente internacional, con 13 pabellones llenos de especialistas del comercio desde vinícolas, hasta hotelería, restaurantes y catering.

Cada pabellón era como entrar a un nuevo mundo donde el idioma cambia, las personas, culturas, tradiciones, comida y desde luego el estilo de vino.

Navegar en Prowein puede ser muy abrumador, especialmente si no tienes la experiencia de este tipo de ferias de vino. Es por esto que hoy te queremos compartir algunos tips que fueron de gran ayuda para poder aprovechar al máximo los tres días.

  1. Un desayuno sustancioso: Al llegar al evento comienzas a probar vinos desde temprano, es por esto que es muy importante ir bien desayunado para poder seguir el ritmo. Además, evitarás hacer largas filas para conseguir algo de comer dentro del evento. 
  2. Zapatos cómodos: Parece una tontería, pero es muy importante que al festival acudas con los zapatos mas cómodos que tengas, puedes mantener el estilo usando ropa semi-formal, pero sin duda, un par de zapatos cómodos son la mejor opción, porque vas a caminar mucho.
  3. Tote bag: En muchas ocasiones, te regalarán unas bolsas de tela en los stands, pero si tu ya tienes una, no dudes en traerla. A lo largo de la feria, vas a recibir tantas tarjetas de presentación y folletos, que no te alcanzan las manos para cargar, así que lo más importante es que busques siempre mantenerte cómodo y tener las manos libres, ya que lo único que debes de sostener es una copa.
  4. App de Prowein: ¡Descarga la aplicación! Sin duda, es muy importante que tengas la app para que puedas buscar el productor o la vinícola de tu interés de manera mucho más sencilla. Hay una cantidad abrumadora de stands y ¡No hay tiempo que perder! ( Busca con anticipación los productores o vinícolas que te interesa visitar e identifica su stand.)
  5. Carga un snack: Después de un día tan ajetreado, de tanto caminar y probar vino, es probable que al cabo de unas horas comiences a sentir hambre, es por eso que cargar un snack (galletas, nueces, pan, fruta) será la mejor opción.
  6. Mantente hidratado: Compra una botella de agua y cárgala contigo, es muy importante que te estés hidratando para que rindas en el festival y lo puedas disfrutar.
  7. Agenda citas, pero no satures tu día: Es importante que si quieres reunirte  con proveedores específicos, tengas previas citas, así puedes discutir de los temas importantes para tu negocio, sin embargo, también es importante que no tengas todo el día saturado. Una de las cosas mas increíbles del festival es descubrir nuevos vinos y vinícolas nuevas. Así que, organízate, pero no te satures y deja un poco de tiempo para visitar otros stands.
