Here at BHW, we’re always looking for new hidden gems to share with you: Wines that will brighten your day and put a smile on your face, wines that you’ll be happy to share with your friends, wines that will surpass your expectations and are still friendly with your wallet…

Hailing from the lauded (and tiny: just three miles long, and one mile wide) Stags Leap District (SLD), home to Shafer, Cliff Lede, and Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, comes this top-quality Napa Valley Cabernet at an absolutely great price! You see, with the high demand that this region has, it's practically impossible to find a great deal coming from this place, (but you know we’d do anything for you! 😉)

Introducing the 2021 Dolum Cask 3 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville! If you're a seasoned sipper or a longtime member of the BHW family, you're in for a treat. While we've showcased Dolum Estate wines in the past, Cask #3 is a true standout—the epitome of excellence from this esteemed winery. Trust me, Dolum wines have a track record of hitting it out of the park, every single time.
This is not your average vino, my friend. We're talking about a wine that James Suckling awarded 95 points, born in what is shaping up to be a magnificent vintage (awarded 95-98 points by Vinous Media), and crafted by legendary winemaker Chad Alexander (former Mt. Veeder's Hess Collection’s winemaker).  Chad's meticulous attention to detail ensures that every sip of Dolum Cask 3 is an experience that will make all wine lovers euphoric!

Here's the scoop: This wine is as exclusive as it gets, and so is the vintage. Antonio Galloni of Vinous has this to say about the vintage: "Two thousand twenty-one is a fabulous vintage in Napa Valley." It’s already being compared to 2013 and 2016 in Napa. That's the good news. The not-so-good news? Production is significantly lower this year, down 30-50% in many cases.
