95-98 Point Fabulous & Limited Vintage: 2021 Acumen Mountainside Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Allow me to introduce you to today’s star: the 2021 Acumen Mountainside Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley.

There's just so much to love about this wine; too many accolades to count. I could wax poetic all night about why this wine is truly a treasure, and how our entire team at BHW is captivated by it. But, since time is of the essence, I took the liberty to summarize:

🍷 The Producer: A winery founded by the visionary Eric Yuan, a true "New Shining Star From Napa Valley" as Forbes puts it.

🍷 The Vineyard: Planted in 1992, the Attelas Vineyard spreads over 32 acres with a northeast exposure. This is where Dr. Jan Krupp chose to start his wine journey, preceding the planting of his famous Stagecoach Vineyard by three years. Dr. Jan Krupp is a big deal in the wine world, like Napa royalty.

🍷 The Current Winemaker: Phillip Titus is the rockstar winemaker with a stellar 30-year career at Chappellet Vineyard on Pritchard Hill ($300/bottle!).

🍷 The Founding Winemaker: The late Denis Malbec, brought his expertise

from Château Latour, Château Loudenne, Newton Vineyard, Blankiet Estate to help launch this project.

🍷 The Vintage: We're unveiling the 2021 vintage—the latest "IT" vintage that is already being hailed as "one of the vintages of the decade," drawing comparisons to the iconic 2013 and 2016 vintages. Vinous Media gave the vintage an impressive 95-98 point score. The catch? Production is significantly lower, down 30-50% in many cases.

🍷 The Wine: This 94-point Cabernet is simply perfect. Enjoy it now, or cellar it for a decade or more – either way, you'll keep loving it more and more.

We're absolutely smitten with this wine. We're already comparing it to our top seller of the year, Sei Querce, which is honestly a sensation. Will this be the new Sei Querce? There's only one way to find out—click "BUY" and experience it for yourself. 🛒
