Miro Tcholakov's winemaking journey began in Bulgaria, where generations perfected the art of winemaking. He learned the biz under his grandfather's watchful eye, laying the foundation for his remarkable career.

After earning his stripes with viticulture and enology studies at the Higher Institute of Agriculture in Plovdiv, Miro embarked on a global adventure. In 1990, he landed in Napa Valley, California, where he started as a harvest intern at Dry Creek Vineyard. Little did he know, this temporary gig would set the stage for his illustrious winemaking career. With further studies at UC Davis, he later became the Winemaker at Trentadue Winery, where he continues to craft award-winning wines today.

Miro's Cellar is his secret haven, where he pours his passion and love into wines that tell his unique story. And the Russian River Valley became the canvas for Miro's winemaking artistry.
