Since 2009, Bighammerwines.com has offered a deal of the day wine. We make volume deals directly with winery suppliers around the world and pass the discount onto wine lovers just like you. It’s a simple model, bypassing the middlemen. As a result, this year was our most successful year ever. Some of our best selling wines may have already sold out, but whenever possible, we’ll go back to a winery to secure some of the subsequent vintage. Given that we offer 90+ rated wines at a significant discount from high quality, artisanal, family wineries, these wines do sell out. These are the wines your fellow wine enthusiasts liked the most, so if you haven’t tried them yet, here’s your chance.
This Cabernet has quietly become one of BHW’s go-to Napa values in 2024 and 2025. Grown on the rugged Atlas Peak slopes, it delivers all the structure and depth you'd expect from premium Napa fruit—without the triple-digit price tag. Acumen's team includes winemaking talent from Bryant Family and Chappellet, and their Mountainside bottling is a perfect expression of power and finesse. Rich with dark fruit, cocoa, and mountain herbs, it overdelivers at every level. If you're looking for serious Napa Cab character without breaking the bank, this is the bottle to grab. We've sold hundreds of bottles and expect it to disappear quickly—again.
This is a greatest hit for BHW. Very few of our competitors offer mixed 6pks because they are a pain to pick and pack. But, our customers love the Adventure 6pks as a way to try 6 different 90+ rated wines based on a theme. Whether it’s a grape, a country, or a specific region, the wine curious love to taste wines of the world and share the journey with us. And, apparently top quality Napa Cab at a discounted price is the most preferred of all.
Gray Brookman has had an illustrious career making some icon wines including Joseph Phelps Insignia. His focus has been on the Stagecoach vineyard and his wines are magisterial. We can’t recommend this producer enough and people come back again and again for these wines. Checkout his 100% Stagecoach library vintage wines too.
It’s too early in the year to include the 2019 Brunellos that are arriving, but this high quality and value Barolo from one of our favorite producers in Piemonte has been a homerun. If you love the taste of Italy, tightly wound Nebbiolo tannins and a sleek not having to pay $100+ dollars a bottle, try this.
You could drop $300+ on cult Napa names with glossy labels—or you can grab this under-the-radar gem from one of the valley’s most pedigreed producers. Revana is the real deal: an estate-grown Cabernet crafted by a who's-who of winemaking talent (including Heidi Barrett and Thomas Rivers Brown in past vintages). The 2021 vintage is a powerhouse—dense, polished, and deeply expressive of its Napa roots. It delivers that rich, layered, age-worthy style collectors chase, without the markup. BHW scored this at insider pricing, and quantities are limited. Don’t sleep on it—this is the kind of wine you'll wish you bought by the case.
The Heir Apparent Reserve punches way above its weight—and it’s quickly becoming a breakout favorite among savvy Napa Cab buyers. This is polished, modern Napa Cabernet with serious pedigree, made by a winemaking team that’s worked with some of the valley’s biggest names. It delivers the richness, power, and dark-fruited intensity people chase in $100+ bottles—but at a fraction of the price.
A hidden gem for Brunello fans. The 2019 Tra Di Noi delivers classic Montalcino character—dark cherry, spice, and smooth tannins—at a price that beats most big-name Brunellos. It’s bold, elegant, and built to impress. If you love top-tier Italian reds without the top-shelf price, this one’s a no-brainer.
Handmade wine from the nephew of Caymus founder, Derek Beitler is a great example of the dirt under the nails winemakers we love to support. This guy literally does everything himself. It’s polar opposite of what they do at Caymus. At nearly 50% of the price of Caymus, this is twice the wine. We love it and so do our clients.
BHW clients have global appreciation for great wine. It’s a testament that our #1 Chardonnay is not from California. Instead, it’s an unoaked Chardonnay from Chablis, the OG of all Chardonnays. At less than $28, it’s such a good wine, one bottle is rarely enough.
This is our top pick for Napa Cab lovers who want luxury flavor without the luxury price. Made from premium Napa Valley fruit by a team with serious pedigree, Raptor & Crimson brings bold blackberry and cassis fruit, layers of mocha and spice, and a polished finish that tastes like it should cost twice as much. Smooth, rich, and crowd-pleasing, this is the kind of bottle that disappears fast at dinner—and at under $35, it’s a no-brainer. If you’re not stocking up now, you will wish you had later.
This is what happens when high-end Napa Cab meets insider pricing. Originally priced at $125, Sling & Spear delivers everything you’d expect from top-tier Napa—powerful structure, rich dark fruit, and polished oak—for under $50. Crafted by a winemaker with deep roots in Rutherford and Oakville, this wine is dense, full-bodied, and built to impress. It’s a serious Cabernet that drinks like it should be locked behind a glass case. At this price, it’s a steal—and like all great deals, it won’t last long.
This is another insider score from one of California’s most under-the-radar boutique producers. Sei Querce’s fruit is so highly regarded, it’s been sourced by cult producers like Silver Oak—and this single-vineyard Cabernet from Miller’s Orchard is proof why. Normally priced at $100, this Cab showcases the depth and elegance that makes Alexander Valley such a rising star, especially when it comes from hillside sites like this one. Thanks to our direct relationship with the winery, BHW secured a sizable allocation at a serious discount. At just $64.99, this is collector-level juice at weeknight pricing. Don't miss your shot—this won’t stay quiet for long.
This bold Howell Mountain Cab is a hidden gem. Big, structured, and packed with dark fruit and spice, it tastes like a $100+ wine—but it’s just $54.99. Sourced from prime mountain vineyards, it has the power and depth Napa Cab lovers crave. This is our second time offering it, and it’s already gaining a following. If you like serious Cabernet without the serious price, this one’s for you.
From the legendary Jason Woodbridge of Hundred Acre, The Dreamer brings top-tier Napa Cabernet quality at a more approachable price. Rich, bold, and smooth, it’s full of dark fruit, chocolate, and spice. This 2021 vintage shows off everything people love about Hundred Acre—power, polish, and pure Napa luxury. A must-try for fans of high-end Cabernet.
Arduini does it again with this powerful yet beautifully balanced Amarone. While Amarone traditionally means “the big bitter one,” this 2021 vintage is bursting with ripe dark fruit, spice, and silky texture. Scoring 99 points from Luca Maroni and earning a spot on his “Best Italian Wines” list, it’s clear this wine delivers serious value. We only get one shot at importing Arduini’s Amarones each year—and they always sell out fast. Stock up while you can.
